√ Natural childbirth
√ Meconium
√ Calm
Even after more than six months, the memory of my labor is still vivid.
At 4 a.m. on the 40+3 day, I woke up to go to the bathroom and felt something come out. When I looked, I saw a red blood clot—my cervical mucus plug! I was thrilled and thought, “Yes, today is the day!” Happy birthday to my late check-out baby, who was finally ready! 🥳 With a prepared mindset, I joyfully embraced the experience. The surges were still irregular, so I enjoyed a relaxing bath and music, savoring the unique sensations.
By 6 a.m., the surges became stronger, and I decided to head to the hospital. As I got into the car, my water broke, and I used my breathing techniques to stay calm during the journey. 😌
Upon arriving at the hospital, the nurse noticed that the amniotic fluid was meconium-stained, indicating that the baby had pooped in the womb. An internal examination showed that I was already 10 cm dilated, and the nurse quickly moved me to the delivery room.
Before the doctor arrived, I felt the baby was almost coming out. I used the J breathing technique that I had practiced, trying to relax as much as possible.
When the doctor arrived, she informed me that the baby needed to come out quickly due to the meconium. My husband mentioned that he could already see the baby’s hair. Following the nurse’s instructions, I pushed during the surges. I distinctly felt the baby’s head emerge with the first push and, with a second push, a significant release. I knew the baby was born. The doctor placed the baby on my chest, and I was deeply moved. 🥲
I am grateful for the smooth and safe delivery—it’s a memorable and joyous experience. Thanks to the knowledge from the HypnoBirthing class, I was prepared with a positive mindset for the labor process. I wish all mothers can achieve their dream birth and encourage each other on the parenting journey. 💪🏻

【Mentor’s Note】
Shortly after the first trimester, Amily joined my class. She always appeared radiant and joyful during sessions. She told me how wonderful it was to start preparing early.
We frequently communicated about various topics and interactions with her doctor. Each time, I could sense her joy and concerns from her direct expressions. I remember a moment when she discussed her Birth Preferences with her doctor and then sent me a message saying she wanted to talk.
We had a conversation, and I guided her through a relaxation exercise to release negative emotions, which restored her happy demeanor. As for the rest of the story, you all know it.
I recall receiving her labor initiation message early that morning, and within four hours, I received beautiful photos of her and the baby.
Knowledge is power. When a mother enters the delivery room with confidence and joy, the birth process naturally unfolds beautifully, and she can adapt flexibly to any situation.
